For teenage girls of the 1990s, Clueless was more than a cult classic movie; it shaped the way we dressed, spoke, and related to each other. One of the most impactful teen films of the '90s, the 1995 movie gave us the early talents of Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy, and Paul Rudd, among others, and had cameos from film greats like Wallace Shawn and Dan Hedaya.

The story of Bronson Alcott High School’s popular and fashionable Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) and her bestie Dionne Davenport (Stacey Dash) who take school newcomer and fashion clueless Tai Frasier (Brittany Murphy) under their wing and transform her into a "total Betty" has become one of the most iconic teenage films of all time and was loosely based on the Jane Austen 1815 novel Emma.

Clueless helped to inspire the iconic '90s plaid skirt look; gave us the timeless phrases like, "Ugh, as if!”, among many other gems; and still makes us want to go "rolling with the homies."  Seriously, can we just stop everything and do a makeover? Because we will always love everything '90s.

The movie originally grossed $56.6 million at the U.S box office alone and continues to last as a beloved story. A television series was developed with several of the cast members in 1996 that aired for three seasons, though Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd were not part of the cast. Currently, another Clueless series remake from CBS is in development based around Dionne, the character played by Stacy Dash in both the film and the first television series. It was also announced in 2018 that Paramount Studios was developing a movie remake of the cult classic, though no official announcement about a remake being filmed has been released.

We just love this news and can’t wait to break out the popcorn for this special showing. What about you, will you be scooping up your tickets soon? What’s your all-time favorite Clueless quote? Let us know in the comments.
