Taco lovers rejoice! District Taco, a Yucatan-style Mexican chain, has announced it will be opening a restaurant in Silver Spring, Maryland.
District Taco is known as a tasty and fast Mexican venue for DMV residents. The restaurant started out as a small taco cart in Rosslyn and now has 12 restaurants across the DMV area and one in Pennsylvania.
The restaurant features food such as burritos, quesadillas and tacos. The spot is known among locals for awesome deals such as three tacos for eight dollars and breakfast all day! District Taco gives customers huge portions and a burrito bowl could easily last two meals.
The new shop will open up in The Blairs Shopping Center at 1312 East West Highway (Silver Spring), making it District Taco’s second location in Maryland. District Taco recently opened up a restaurant in Riverdale Park in Prince George’s County.

CEO and Co-Founder Osiris Hoil says, "We're very excited to spread our delicious food throughout Maryland! It's about time our amigos in Montgomery County got a DT of their own. We like fun communities with a lot of energy and Silver Spring definitely has that!"
The company is also happy to announce that with this new store opening they can reach 500 employees! The new location will be great addition to the Silver Spring food scene.
