America’s favorite snack brand rolled out a number of patriotic treats just in time for the Fourth of July.

What better way to celebrate another American summer than to indulge in a few festive treats? This summer, Hostess is releasing two brand-new treats — Strawberry Donettes and Star Spangled Ding Dongs. In addition, the brand is bringing back its limited-edition Red, White, & Blue Twinkies and Star Spangled CupCakes to join the patriotic lineup. “Hostess is an iconic American brand,” Keith Peterfeso, Brand Director for Hostess’ All Day Snacking said in a press release. “We are proud to celebrate summer and Americana by expanding our patriotic line of ‘Red, White & Blue’ treats.” If you’re a fan of Ding Dongs, then you’re going to love Hostess’ patriotic take on the treat. Star Spangled Ding Dongs are soft and delicious mini yellow cakes filled with creme filling, covered in white fudge frosting, and topped with red, white, and blue sprinkles. But if it’s pizzazz you’re looking for, then we recommend stocking up on Hostess’ Red, White, & Blue Twinkies, made from the brand’s oh-so-famous original golden Twinkies with red, white, and blue sprinkles baked into the cake, and Hostess’ Star Spangled CupCakes, made of a sweet yellow cake filled with crème filling and topped with blue icing, candy stars, and red icing squiggles. You can find Hostess’ limited-time treats on the snack shelves of your local grocery store now through July 4, 2018. If anything, these patriotic mini-cakes are sure to be a hit with the kids.
