From lobster rolls to ice cream cake pops and everything in between, here are the new eats we are most looking forward to in 2019.

Denver's eclectic food scene just keeps growing, and 2019 will bring a host of new flavors in new locations across the city. Just when you thought you ate too much over the holidays, we're here to make you hungry again. Here are the new restaurants we're most excited to try this year!

Restaurant Tonno

2201 W. 32nd Ave.

What was once a yoga studio will become a 30-seat experiential restaurant come spring. This modern restaurant will be influenced by Italian and Japanese cuisine and will serve tasting menus of at least 11 courses five nights per week.

Broadway Market

950 Broadway

The Stanley Marketplace team brings another food hall to join the existing staples in Denver, and one of the tenants will be Pizzeria Coperta from chef Paul C. Reilly. We're also looking forward to Mother Tongue's Turkish-style street food. It's set to open in January.

Maine Shack

1535 Central St.

This spring, you'll be able to enjoy New-England style seafood right in Denver. The anticipated lobster rolls are mouth-watering enough, and we're also looking forward to scallops, fried clams, and fries dipped in crab boil aioli.

TORO

150 Clayton Ln.

Opening inside the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek in late spring, this new restaurant from chef Richard Sandoval will blend Asian and Pan-Latin influences for an eclectic mix of global flavors that screams Denver.

American Grind

81 S. Pennsylvania St.

Before, this burger joint was a food truck, and currently, it's a restaurant inside Avanti Food & Beverage. But come April, a new storefront will open that will serve the same delicious burgers and allow the restaurant to expand its menu. Vegetarians will appreciate the sweet potato-based veggie burgers.

The Constellation Ice Cream

10155 E. 29th Dr.

The folks who brought you Little Man Ice Cream are opening this gem in a conical, all-glass building with a 75-foot airplane wing replica. The made-from-scratch ice cream Little Man is known for will be available here, along with flambeed baked Alaska ice cream cake pops, in case you need something new to look forward to. It's set to open early in 2019.
