Denver-based breakfast chain to open its doors in April 2019.
Soon, Colorado Springs residents will dine on pineapple upside down pancakes or decadent pancake flights, feast on shrimp and grits, and enjoy benedicts that are guaranteed to please any palate. The popular breakfast cafe, Snooze A.M. Eatery, will be coming to the corner of North Academy Boulevard and Agora Point next spring.
The 12-year-old restaurant began in the Ballpark neighborhood in Denver and has since expanded throughout the metro area and front range, as well as in cities in California, Arizona, and Texas.
“We’ve long known of our huge fan base and many ravers in the Colorado Springs area,” said David Birzon, CEO of Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, in a statement. “And we’re extremely excited to bring Snooze to the Colorado Springs community."
Real estate development company Confluent Development confirmed the chain will serve as the anchor for an 8,265-square-foot, multi-tenant retail development at the south end of Chapel Hills East. Snooze is planned to occupy 3,800 square feet with 182 total seats and a large outdoor patio. So far, the breakfast eatery will be joined in the development by Bishops Cuts/Colors, which will also open in 2019.
Founded by brothers Jon and Adam Schlegel, Snooze started with a mission to evolve the a.m. dining experience through culinary innovation, an eclectic and energetic atmosphere, and comfortable and friendly service.
Snooze also diverts 85-95 percent of its waste by recycling and composting where facilities are available, responsibly sources its seasonal menu, and donates one percent of its sales back into the community.
