It's only here for a week—get a trove of hit games in the new Humble Bundle and support the fight against COVID-19.
The Humble Bundle is an online store that sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content at flexible "pay-what-you-want" prices, with proceeds going to charity on every product. Their Bundles are only available for a week or two at a time, and this most recent one is a whopper.
The "Conquer COVID-19" Bundle has about six days left on its timer as of the time of writing this article—the offer will expire Tuesday, April 7. The minimum price this time is gated at $30 (you can pay/donate more, of course), but the bargain you get is colossal. For $30 you get 45 games and 21 other pieces of digital media, for a total estimated value of $1,071. Buyers receive Steam redemption keys to download their games, which means this bundle is for PC gamers.
One hundred percent of proceeds are donated to support organizations fighting the pandemic, so your purchase translates directly to protective gear for medical workers or care for patients.
You can check out what exactly you get with your purchase on their site, but I'll highlight some of the big gets here:
- Into the Breach
- Hollow Knight
- Wizard of Legend
- Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
- Google's Tilt Brush
- Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
- The Jackbox Party Pack 2
- Tropico 4
- Brütal Legend
- Darksiders Warmastered Edition and Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition
The selection of e-books is pretty awesome, too. There's a range from self-help and stress-management books to some sweet comics.
- Mindfulness for Kids
- Crosswords of Wisdom Vol. 1 and 2
- Coping Skills
- The Boys Vol. 1 (What the hit Amazon TV show adapted btw)
- Locke and Key Vol. 1 (What Netlflix is adapting for their show)
- Journeys Through Time and Space: 5 Classic Novels of Science Fiction and Fantasy
There are loads more games and e-books included. Honestly, if the bundle was just those first three critically-acclaimed games, it'd still be a great deal. But you get a ton more, and you can share what you don't want with friends. All of this so you can stay responsibly inside and help support the noble folks on the frontlines of pandemic-fighting.
Check out the bundle here. And if you've missed it, don't fret—the Humble store puts out great deals that benefit charity constantly.
Any of these games catch your eye? What game are you planning to play next?
