About the Urban Oasis
The two-story home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms with bright, bold, and nautical touches throughout this comfortable cottage.
Take a virtual tour via pictures. The front to the home boasts a charcoal gray exterior with an inviting front porch leading to a bright coral front door. Inside, the vaulted entry walls are wallpapered with bright coral and white stripes.
The casual living room, with sage green walls and a sectional sofa, is the perfect spot for reading, chatting, or watching HGTV. The kitchen and breakfast nook both have durable high-gloss floors connecting the two areas. A vintage card catalog separates the areas with trendy and rustic design and functionality.
A large dining table, with impeccably mismatched chairs, bring residents and visitors to one central gathering area in the kitchen. Stainless, high-end appliances complement the sleek storage throughout the kitchen.
Bedrooms are rich with luxury and storage space. One bedroom is currently designed as a work studio, a perfect breeding ground for creativity.
The floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows bring in plenty of light from the side entry. Energy efficiency is a focus of the solar powered fresh air skylights in the laundry room. The backyard adds two levels of outdoor living space.
With mixed reviews on HGTV's Facebook page, Urban Oasis 2020 is already receiving quite a bit of attention.
"I entered and am crossing my fingers! Way to go HGTV... Beautiful home and detail! " (Tammy)
"Sorry, not a house belonging to Maine. Outside is very dark. Inside looks like an advertisement for a paint store." (Nancy)
"It's a beautiful home. The Interior Designer is awesome. I watched the tour this morning. The art room, the colorful room had my name written all on it. That is so me. As beautiful as this house is, I don't need it. Whoever wins, enjoy your beautiful home." (Sharon)
