Not even one of the most powerful hail storms ever can keep the super shopping center Colorado Mills down for long.

Movie theater? Check. Shopping? Check. Dining? Check. Colorado Mills has everything nearby residents could ask for and will be adding even more. On Wednesday, August 8, it was announced that one of the state’s largest retail destinations will be re-opening Coach, H&M, Skechers, and Crazy 8.

These additions come as Colorado Mills has slowly been reopening stores after recovering from the devastating hail storm that occurred last year. The hail storm forced the massive retail center to close most of its stores for an extended period of time.

There are already more 140 stores open in the center, since recovering from the storm, and more stores are expected to be open for business within the near future. Some of the headliners include Gap Factory, Banana Republic Factory, and Forever 21. Plus, if you like working out (and looking good at the same time), the largest Nike Factory Store in the state will be planting its flag at Colorado Mills, for all of your athletic gear needs.

Another place I am really excited to visit will be the taco chain, Los Chingones, which is owned by the well-respected TAG restaurant group. TAG restaurant group was created by Chef Troy Guard and features some of the best restaurants in Denver. Los Chingones' menu features classic Mexican entrees with Chef Guard's own personal twist.

Now, this recent wave of brick and mortar store openings may come as a surprise to those of you who follow news about the constantly shifting economy -- a shocking number of malls and superstores in America are in danger of closing. The more commonly known stores include JC Penny, Sears, and, former Mile High Stadium naming rights holders, Sports Authority.

The opening of these stores renforces the bright future for Colorado's economy. As the city of Denver continues to grow so will the number of businesses that wish to open a location here.
