Colorado's big city is filling up, which makes you want to ship out. Check out these 5 Cities that Aren't Denver.

The masses are flooding to Colorado, and the “hip” thing to do is move to Denver. While the city is loading up, the Natives are freaking out. Denverites have been shaking up their living situations and flocking to these other great Colorado cities.   Arvada [gallery size="medium" ids="1794,1793,1792"] It’s right outside of Denver, but not technically Denver. Arvada is a great place to escape the encroaching transplants. The city prides itself on its community events, hosting tons of festivals, concerts and theater productions all the time.    Colorado Springs [gallery size="large" ids="1797,1795,1796"] Check out Colorado Springs if you’re looking for Colorado cities further away. About an hour out from Denver, Colorado Springs has all the greatness of a city with hiking trails and Pikes Peak just a few minutes away. Just steer clear of Garden of the Gods if you want your peace from tourists.      Aspen [gallery size="large" ids="1799,1798,1801,1800"] If you want to escape to the mountains, Aspen is your place. Filled with tons of delicious restaurants and boutique shops, Aspen is the perfect little mountain town with everything you need. Littleton Colorado Cities As the 20th most populated municipality in Colorado, you still have a good amount of people without feeling like you’re suffocating.  Plus, it’s another one of those Colorado cities that is close enough to Denver for you to enjoy all the big-city goodness without having to live there. Glenwood Springs [gallery size="large" ids="1804,1805,1806"] Hot springs, adventure parks, spas, and of course Hanging Lake. Glenwood Springs is an oasis 2 hours out from Denver; once you come here you’ll never want to leave.
