DrinkMaryland Saturday, June 17 in Centreville, MD

This weekend will mark the first-ever DrinkMaryland: A Maryland Makers' Festival. Saturday from noon to five p.m., the event presents locally-made liquors and beers as part of a huge open-air Farmer's Market. There will be artisan crafts, contests, live music, food, and plenty to drink. Free Montgomery Symphony Orchestra Summer Concert Sunday, June 18 in Silver Spring, MD

The Montgomery Symphony Orchestra presents their free summer concert. The show features winners of the Second Annual Youth Soloist Competition. Conducted by A. Scott Wood, music includes Haydn "oboe concerto in C Major," Vivaldi "piccolo concerto in C Major," and the Arutiunian trumpet concerto. The show also includes music by Vaughn Williams, Delibes, Faure, and Sibelius. After the concert, there will be a Woodwind and Brass Petting Zoo compliments of Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center. Hot Peas 'N Butter at AMP Sunday, June 18 in Bethesda, MD

Want to spend Father's Day with the kids? Children's band Hot Peas ’N Butter moseys into AMP to host a Pajama Jam with delightful tunes full of flavors from reggaetón, hip-hop, and dance hall. These Parents’ Choice Award-winning musical maestros put on a unique show full of tasty beats and catchy melodies that is as irresistible as it is creative.
