Shelby American Collection
Celebrate the history of racing cars! If you’re a racing lover and have an affinity for history too, the Shelby American Collection is the Boulder activity for you. Dedicated to the legacy of Carrol Shelby and the Shelby American Team, this one-of-a-kind non-profit museum is for any enthusiast, collector, history buff, or pretty much anyone interested in 1960s race cars.
Colorado Shakespeare Festival
Since 1958, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival has celebrated and performed the words of Shakespeare through elaborate productions and amazing performances. CSF is a great Boulder activity to take a date, the family, or just yourself! Additionally, performances are beneath summer night skies in outdoor (or indoor) theaters. Also, you have your choice of several shows and performances put on by a professional troupe of actors aiming to do Shakespeare justice.
Unfortunately, the Colorado Shakespeare season is over. However, you can secure your tickets for next year on October 31st.

Adrenaline Segway Tours
The top rated Segway tour in Boulder is put on by Adrenaline. They’re known for putting on a full tour filled with plenty of facts and tons of sight seeing. Scoot around taking in the breathtaking scenery for the seven-mile tour. The Adrenaline tour will take you through historic neighborhoods, the famed Mork & Mindy house, Chautauqua Park, Flatiron Views, Gregory Canyon and even Pearl Street Mall. Boulder County Farmers Market
The Boulder County Farmers Market was created by local farmers who came together to bring people a local market. Boulder County Farmers Market has been around since the mid-1980s. Starting with just a few tables and an overall vision, this reoccurring Boulder activity has expanded to have 150 local vendors. Because of this, it has developed into the longest market season in Colorado. Featuring everything from local crafts and seedlings to prepared baked goods, gourmet cheese, and TONS more.

Valmont Bike Park
Valmont Bike Park is a 42-acre natural surface cycling park. This park is different from many due to its several diverse amenities for any and all kinds of riders. The park is free and open daily from dawn to dusk. Show off your dirt biking skills with plenty of ramps and tough terrain, or simply ride around with the family. After all that, have a nice lunch at the park. No matter what you do, Valmont is the perfect spot for you to ride your heart out.
Fiske Planetarium
Stars and lasers and science… oh my! Fiske Planetarium makes learning fun and interactive (or intergalactic). Located on the CU Boulder campus, Fiske first opened in 1975 and has grown tremendously since. Fiske hosts a diverse list of shows including star talks, laser shows, and special live events. Overall, the planetarium’s 65ft. diameter dome is the perfect canvas to view beautiful stars and fun laser shows. Overall, it's perfect for the whole family.
Gateway Park Fun Center
Gateway is the best place for the whole family to have fun and play! Equipped for parties, group activities, or corporate outings too. There’s a little something for everyone at Gateway. All in all Gateway is full of fun activities for the whole family, they have mini golf, go karts, a human maze, batting cages, and a driving range too!
Balloon Rides
See Boulder from sky-high views with this Boulder activity! There are several options for you balloon ride needs. Regardless of which you choose you’ll get a chance to see Boulder and beyond from a completely new perspective. If you’re not afraid of heights, this is the activity for you. Unless the weather chooses otherwise, of course.
Long’s Iris Gardens
Bask in the glory of Mother Nature at this third generation owned and operated iris farm. Founded in 1905, this beautiful patch of flora allows guests to see, smell, and appreciate a beautiful field of colors. They even have a dig-it-yourself option if you want to take some home (with purchase of course). So, take a break from the hustle-and-bustle of life at this beautiful expansive garden. They are open to the public when the iris are in bloom – usually May through early June.
