"In case you don't already know me, I came to Hope for Life a while ago and am having trouble finding a home. If you just take the time to meet me, you will find that I'm a kind-hearted and relaxed dog. I don't bark, jump, or lunge at you when you come to meet me, but I will approach you right away! In order to get attention, I gently climbed into Caitlin's lap. I am not potty-trained so I will need someone to work with me on that (and possibly some manners, too!). If you think you are that special person, please meet me here!"

"Hi! I'm the big black and white cat that's usually hiding on the top shelf on the wall. I would prefer that you approach me slowly and let me sniff your hand just because I'm unsure of who you are. Once you reach in for the first scratch, I will melt like putty and purr to tell you that I'm happy. I am a little skittish but am overall a lovebug! Please give me a second chance at life, here!"
