"Overall the customer service could be better, but the cook is a cutie; so I'll give her another chance."
A dad from Detroit, Michigan, has gone viral for an endearing and oh-so honest online review he wrote of his toddler daughter’s “restaurant”, sharing a positive message that we all need to hear right now.
Christophe Kyle stopped in for a bite at an incredibly special eatery, one operated by his 16-month-old adorable daughter, Ava. Kyle posted the cute review on his Instagram, and suddenly, "Ava’s Kitchen" and its endearing little chef became an instant internet star.
Kyle works from home, so he gets to spend a lot of time with little Ava, and the bond between the two is obvious. He told Bored Panda, "As a full-time entrepreneur, I work from home which allows me to be hands-on with my baby girl daily." The doting dad also shared that he was not always behind the idea of the play kitchen, but once he saw how much Ava loved it, he became a regular customer.
In addition to sharing the cute snaps, Kyle is sharing a positive message about supporting Black-owned businesses, at a time when the world needs to hear it.
Kyle’s original review got thousands of views and has been shared on media platforms worldwide. He posted a follow-up review a few days later, as well as a message of gratitude for all the positive attention he and the aspiring little chef Ava have gotten.
He has several more loveable cute pictures of Ava and her kitchen on his Instagram page, as well as has shared some of the amazing experiences they have had since the post went viral. Ava has brought a lot of people together, with thousands of positive comments, including some kudos from other parents who have assembled the same play kitchen, which is, as one user put it, a "Real test of fatherhood."
The proud daddy remarked on his daughter's sudden fame in a recent post. "She’s already touched lives around the world, and she can’t even talk yet! Just wait until you see what we do next!"
Now, we just have one question: does Ava's Kitchen deliver? (Asking for a friend.)
Share just how cute you think Miss Ava is in the comments!
