New year, new you -- right? Was it your resolution to be more organized in 2018? Here are some great ideas to keep your life tidy!

Organization is so much more than knowing your daily schedule -- Take these tips to heart, and have a holistically organized life! Clean as you go: https://www.instagram.com/p/BeTsMinj0bI/?taken-by=servicetoclean Possibly the easiest way to keep your home and life organized is to clean up after yourself as you go. Don't just leave your shoes around; neatly leave them by the door. Don't let dishes pile up in the sink; clean while you cook! You'll find it's a lot easier than cleaning up everything all at once.

Keep your digital life in order: organized Folders, folders, folders!!! Do you have a cluttered desktop? Get rid of those screen-shot memes and start putting those files in relevant folders - you'll find your work day is MUCH less stressful when you don't have a cluttered desktop. Same goes for your phone! I only have one page on my phone's home screen because all of my apps have a home in a folder. Write it down: https://www.instagram.com/p/BZUY0_VFpvq/?taken-by=bulletjournal.ideas I recently discovered the glory of bullet journaling, and I have to say it's transformed my life. It's like having a planner that you can completely personalize yourself. Create your own goal lists and daily-weekly-monthly calendars to stay up on everything. I spend every Sunday scribbling out my week ahead. It's a fun and creative way to keep track of your life. Can't stand the thought of physically writing in a planner or making your own? There are TONS of digital planner apps out there that can keep you organized. Use Sunday to plan your week: As I said above, I take every Sunday to create my bullet journal week ahead -- that being said, you can do the same by taking some time each lazy Sunday to know what you need to get done in the coming days. You'll find the forethought will keep you on track all week. Bin it up!: organized BINS. Use ALL THE BINS. Investing in some inexpensive bins and slapping labels on them can do wonders for your home. ANYTHING can go into a bin, and its nice for everything in your home to have a place. Need scissors? To the bin! Looking for your gloves? Check the bin!

Find a calendar app that connects your whole family: https://www.instagram.com/p/BaEQ5qTgoyF/?tagged=calendarapp Have a big family, or make tons of plans with your friend-group? There are tons of apps and programs out there that can allow you to connect calendars with everyone in your tribe. It's the best, least-daunting way to organize everyone's schedules. Meal prep: https://www.instagram.com/p/BeTzMIHgcZ3/?tagged=mealprep Now, not everyone likes leftovers, but meal-prepping doesn't always have to mean cooking everything on Sunday and packaging it up (though that does make life the most simple). You can meal-prep by simply planning your menu for the week! Draw up a list of groceries and planned meals for each day of the week. No stress trying to figure out "what are we going to have for dinner?" Set reasonable goals: Possibly the most important aspect to keeping your organizational goals alive -- BE REALISTIC!! Don't have time to draw and doodle on a Sunday in your bullet journal? Don't stress yourself out that you have to do it. There are tons of different things you can do to stay organized, but the most important aspect is to not stress yourself out about it. Give yourself some reasonable goals and tasks, and you'll find your mind clear and your life in order! Have any organizational tips to share? We'd love to hear 'em!
