Denver follows only Seattle, WA, in the list of U.S. cities with the most Ashley Madison members per capita. And we are (appropriately!) outraged.
Despite its data breach in 2015, Ashley Madison -- the cheating website that prides itself in connecting people who are seeking to have an extramarital affair -- is reporting that their memberships are up. And surprisingly (to us, at least!), Denver is lending a solid hand.
Denver comes in second in the list of U.S. cities with the most Ashley Madison memberships per capita. Who knew that our sweet, "pious" metro area was such a hot spot for infidelity and debauchery? Well, call me naive, crazy, or whatever you will -- but I had no idea!
First on the list? Seattle, Washington.
Seattle and Denver are followed by Dallas (No. 3), Philadelphia (No. 4), San Jose (No. 5), Los Angeles (No. 6), San Francisco (No. 7), Houston (No. 8), Charlotte (No. 9), and Austin (No. 10). To read the full list of top 20 cities, click here.
Ashley Madison claims to have more than 54 million member accounts, more than half of which are from females. That's roughly .007 percent of the world population, or 7 out of every 1,000 people.
I just have one question. How do you Ashley Madison members have time to even orchestrate an affair? It just sounds like it takes so much work, sneaking around your spouse's back!
Not to mention, isn't there still something to be said for faithfulness and integrity? Why even bother staying married? I may be old-fashioned, but I think it's kind of a sad statistic.
