Just when you thought you’ve seen everything you could in Denver, think again. Spend a day at the awkward family photo museum for a good laugh.
I’m sure you’ve seen an awkward family photo, perhaps you’ve even been the culprit of a few. Nothing is more painful than looking back at photo albums and seeing your adorable four year old self in a head to toe denim outfit with you and your 5 other family members all matching in the same attire, dad included. Oh yeah and not to mention your awful haircut that looks like you did yourself.
Sure these pictures are hilarious, but you probably wouldn’t show anyone you knew for sake of embarrassment. Unfortunately though when your very first boyfriend in high school came over, that’s the first thing your mother showed him. He got a kick out of it but looking back hopefully that’s not the reason he dumped you, or maybe it was?
Regardless, someone found an art in displaying awkward family photos, and we thank him or her for it. It’s always fun to look at other people’s awkward family photos, but when they’re your own, It’s not so hilarious anymore. That’s why visiting the History Colorado Center this holiday season will make for a perfect Denver outing. You can see over 200 awkward photos along with a little background story behind each one.
