One of the coolest things about this rink is that they stay open for all of the winter holidays. From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., you can skate to your heart's content on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. They're even open on New Year's Eve, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Don't worry if you're not exactly the best skater in the family. The rink also offers group or private lessons. For 2019, the skating school lesson prices are:

  • $95 per child for five Saturday morning group lessons
  • $105 per person (ages 16 and up) for five Sunday morning group lessons
  • Private lessons by appointment

You can even host a birthday party at the rink, for groups of six or more. For $16 per person, everyone gets a pair of rental skates and a 25-minute lesson with a party host. Check out the website for more information or to make a reservation.

Whether you go with the whole family, or just for a fun date night, the Pentagon Row Outdoor Ice Skating Plaza is a unique spot to skate the night away.
