For years, climbers in Longmont have had to drive to Denver, Boulder, and Fort Collins just so they could climb. But not anymore. Come this January, a new climbing gym is planning on opening its doors in Longmont.
The Longmont Climbing Collective (LCC) will be opening its first location in January 2018, according to its Facebook page. The climbing gym, a 154,000-square-foot facility, will be located in downtown Longmont, providing climbers around the city the opportunity to climb without having to drive to Denver, Boulder, or Fort Collins. LCC will be located at 33 South Pratt Parkway, just one block off US 287 and Main Street.

The state-of-the-art facility will feature world-class bouldering, a fitness area, workspace, and a lounge. Plus, make it a family affair at the youth climbing club and other programs structured for young and eager climbers. And if you need a break from climbing, participate in LCC's many classes and workshops, including Yoga, Pilates, and CrossFit.
The most exciting part is that LCC's second location will be right next door to its first! Depending on what the Longmont community would like: an expansion of its bouldering walls, or full-service climbing routes.
Sign up on the gym's website to receive email updates that will include "launch updates, membership rates, and special deals, as well as as ways to get involved with the Longmont Climbing community."
