The days of 10-second videos are gone. Now, messages will feel less fleeting by allowing users to view them indefinitely, but with a catch. The app also has some new tools for you to play with!
Previously, Snapchat only gave users the chance to view "snaps" for up to 10 seconds before they disappeared. Today, it's a thing of the past.
Through the use of a new infinity icon, users will be able to set an infinite timer for a photo or video message so that it will be viewable forever, or at least until the receiver exits the conversation thread. From there, it's gone forever.

In addition to the limitless snaps, Snapchat has added some more tools for you to enjoy – the ability to loop videos, draw with emojis, and a magic eraser tool.

Snapchat had this to say
about the new updates:
Today we're making a pretty big change to the way you create and send Snaps. We're reorganizing the layout of our creative tools, adding a Magic Eraser (you'll find this under the Scissor tool), and adding a new setting to the timer: infinity! ... These changes allow us to continue evolving the Snapchat service and provide a foundation for introducing even more creative tools for making fun Snaps! We hope you enjoy it!"
