Self-quarantining? Was that even a word before three weeks ago?

We are living in really weird times. Who could have predicted that in this day and age, with all of our medical and technological advances, that a virus would quite literally "go viral," crippling our collective ability to live our normal lives?

Well, if you're one of the ones who stocked up on toilet paper (still not sure why, exactly), we've compiled a list of all the things you can do with it now that you're potentially stuck at home, awaiting the virus to pass. I mean, hopefully, you'd forego these crafts and dole out your extra rolls as a goodwill offering to people who need toilet paper for daily life and can't buy it because you took it all. But if you're not that kind of generous person, here are the kinds of crafts we're expecting to see from you:

Homemade Toilet Paper Mache Clay

For this one, you're going to need a butt-load of Elmer's glue and drywall joint compound (make sure you're stocked up pre-quarantine!). But once you've got the supplies, the possibilities are endless. For instance, you too can make a lovely coral sculpture like this one:

Ohhhh, here's an idea: Make yourself a protective mask out of paper mache to keep from "catching" the virus (it's not airborne, by the way—just to set things straight!).

And make yourself a paper mache hand to use in lieu of shaking people's hands with your real hand. #brilliant

Toilet Paper Origami

Search for "toilet paper origami" online, and a whole new world will open up before you. On or off the roll, this is a vastly underappreciated art. Buy this book from Amazon to give you lots of good instructions, or check out this handy resource.

Crafts with Empty Toilet Paper Rolls

So many ideas, so little time. What you're not short on, however, is toilet paper rolls. *Actually, you have time, too, with the quarantine and all.
