Colorado + Lamborghini = Bliss
Life is all about context. That's what gives seemingly elementary works of art their power or a stand-up comedian the ability to joke about some of humanity's most obscene behaviors. The same is also true when it comes to your experience with cars, and in terms of context, there's no better place to drive a Lamborghini than the meandering ribbons of asphalt just west of Colorado Springs. Not following yet? Put simply, driving a Lamborghini on a winding mountain road is a much different experience than driving it on a gridlocked I-25, despite being the same car. I might even go so far as to argue that you're better off not driving it on a gridlocked I-25 at all for fear of losing some of the romance in it all.

We have enough "material items." Instead, get us a guided jaunt through some of Colorado's backroads in a Lamborghini Murciélago. Better yet, do it before winter gets here.

As it turns out, Overdrive Raceway in Colorado Springs not only offers some of the best karting in Colorado – can confirm, we've been there several times – they have one of 4,099 Lamborghini Murciélagos ever produced and they'll let you drive it. For car-people and exotic car lovers, it's a must.
The Murciélago, which in Inglese translates to "bat," not only looks phenomenal, it gives you full reign over a 6.5 Liter V12 engine producing a whopping 631 horsepower. The car then puts the power down through all four wheels and revs to 8000 rpms for an experience that's absolutely transcendental.
Just say that to the car person in your life – they'll know what that translates to.
