People are sharing photos on Twitter of what's not being bought at their local grocery stores.
The massive panic-buying surge that stores and retailers saw across the nation has left store shelves looking like they were attacked by bears. Not all shelves are wiped clean though! There are plenty of areas of the store that are stocked up and ready to go. We did our share of internet sleuthing and have compiled a list of our favorite Tweets sharing what's still on the shelves.
The vegan selection seems to be going strong!
Grocery store shelves are empty.....surprisingly the vegan section is untouched. #coronavirus #Vegan pic.twitter.com/72LFpUpOFX

Weird hummus flavors ...
Somehow reassuring in the midst of #coronavirus shopping frenzy to know that people still have the sense *not* to buy #chocolatehummus and buffalo hummus. #traderjoes #dc pic.twitter.com/fLvuUFWz3Y

Gluten-free, anyone?
For all you who are finding empty shelves at your grocery store, check the gluten free area, that seems to be well stocked for some reason. π€·π»ββοΈ pic.twitter.com/0djpfWbuPe

Seriously, people, wash your hands!
Just left the grocery store. Needed a few things since Iβve been out of town for a week. Toilet paper isle was empty, but there was still plenty of hand soap on the shelves.....π€ #washyourhands pic.twitter.com/s0ogPmoyii

This store, along with many others, is offering fresh baked goods with the new measure of individually wrapping everything.
This is new .... now baked goods are individually wrapped. So now we are going to kill marine animals.

Naughty, naughty! This one is pretty funny.
My local grocery store is switching to preventative medicine as shelves empty and people prepare to work from home i.e., Netflix and chill. pic.twitter.com/DF8N4aE8ku

Last, but not least, we can breathe a little easier knowing there is still CHOCOLATE!
Grocery delivery sites have been crashing so I thought I'd stop by my local store for milk. It turned out to be apocalyptic; the few shoppers in the store, including a UCSD medical worker in scrubs, were dazed by the rows of empty shelves. But, there was plenty of chocolate. pic.twitter.com/YJdDHNdp4d

Well, folks, there you have it! We may have to eat some weird tofu chocolate veggie sausage stir-fry for a while, but we can wash it down with some whiskey. Sadly, we still have no answer to the biggest shopping question right now β¦ When will there be more toilet paper?
What's the weirdest thing you have seen out there in the stores over the last few days? Let us know in the comments, and again, if anyone knows where to get toilet paper, please let everyone in on your secret!
