Maryland SPCA | Baltimore
The Maryland SPCA is a great organization that can be found at 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211 – contact them at 410-235-8826 if you have any questions about the pets. Check out their adoption policy here! And don't forget to check them out on Facebook!
Max, 3
Courtesy of Maryland SPCA
Max is a part of a bonded pair with Queen, so he must go to a home together. Quite the timid guy, Max is learning that there are humans out there who will show you love and care. He is learning that walks are fun and now twirls and gets excited when the leash comes out. Max will provide plenty of face licks if you can tolerate them! Please consider giving them a permanent home, here!
Boomer, 6
Courtesy of Maryland SPCA
Boomer has had a very hard life, beginning with living in the streets and then later living in a loud home with children and other animals (which he does not like)! If you take him in, he will require some time and patience to get accustomed to his new environment. Boomer does have a little bit of a sassy side that will keep you laughing all day long. This guy was also diagnosed with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), which can be easily managed with a special dry food diet. Please consider taking him in, here!
Animal Care Shelter for Kent County | Chestertown
The Animal Care Shelter is the local shelter for Chestertown, Maryland, and can be found at 10720 Augustine Herman Hwy, Chestertown, Maryland, 21620. Contact them at 410-778-3648 if you have any questions. Check out their adoption policy here!
Dusty, 2
Courtesy of Animal Care Shelter for Kent County
Oh my goodness, he's winking to the camera! "I'll be a good boy, I promise!" he's saying. Dusty is a very high-energy dog who will require an owner with equal energy and who can take him on a long daily hike or walk. Get out your tennis balls – this guy wants to play! Because he likes to be the center of attention all the time, Dusty needs to be the only animal in your home and all kids should be over the age of 13. Check him out here!
Claudia, 10
Courtesy of Animal Care Shelter for Kent County
Claudia was brought into the shelter as a stray. Her permanent frumpy face and small wrinkly little ears make her super-unique. Please take this girl home and put a smile on her face! Shelter staff stated that they feel she would do fine in a home with other cats or dogs but does prefer to have a calmer environment. Adopt her, here!
Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center | Derwood

Jaxson, 7
Courtesy of Mary Swift
Jaxson has been in a shelter for five whole years, patiently awaiting a home and family of his own. Not only is he adorable, but he's also a very easy-going guy! His favorite toys are tennis balls, so make sure to set aside some time to play fetch. He loves to lie down in a comfy bed so if you will let him sleep with you at night, he would be the happiest pup in the world! Jaxson has already been trained previously and will show you his skills when you meet him – he knows how to sit, lie down, and shake! Bring him into your heart, here!
Bebe, 6
Courtesy of Mary Swift
Do you see those honey-yellow eyes? They emphasize her gorgeous coat pattern which makes her quite the attractive gal! Bebe has lived with cats, dogs, and kids previously, so she is a very well-rounded gal! Take her home, here!
SPCA of Anne Arundel County | Annapolis

Zoey, 14
Courtesy of SPCA of Anne Arundel County
Just look at her sweet innocent face! Even though Zoey is technically a senior dog, she is still quite active and loves to go for walks and car rides, playing fetch in the backyard, snuggling up under the covers with her humans. Zoey is a very calm dog so she would benefit best from a quiet home with older children and calmer animals. Check her out, here!
Varly Houdini, 10
Courtesy of SPCA of Anne Arundel County
Varly Houdini came to the shelter with his sister, Josie, so they would need to go to a home together. Both of them are declawed main coons with sweet-natured, gentle, laid-back personalities. Learn more here!

Moma Moma has one long painted eyebrow over her right eye – so unique! Provide this girl with plenty of belly rubs and chest scratches because she will sit there and ask for them all day long! She is already housebroken and would prefer a home that will set aside some time to take her to the backyard to play fetch with her! Consider her, here!
