Maryland SPCA | Baltimore

The Maryland SPCA is a great organization that can be found at 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211 – contact them at 410-235-8826 if you have any questions about the pets. Check out their adoption policy here! And don't forget to check them out on Facebook!

His smile will make your heart melt – seriously, just look at it! This incredibly happy boy is full of energy so be sure to take him for a good long walk every day. He's already house trained and does well with children in the house, so you will just need to take him to obedience classes for other manners. Unfortunately, he will not do well with another dog in the home but he will be your biggest sunshine on the dark days! Consider taking him home here!

Dexter, 10

If you give this beautiful soul some soft belly rubs and head scratches, he will instantly become your best friend. He is a bit shy at first but he's only hesitant because he was just left behind and his heart is hurting. Once he finds his fur-ever family, he will want to sit by your side on the chair or couch and know exactly where you are. Fun fact: this guy has really big feet for a kitty so he's got quite the unique look to him. Make him a part of your family, here!

Animal Care Shelter for Kent County | Chestertown

The Animal Care Shelter is the local shelter for Chestertown, Maryland, and can be found at 10720 Augustine Herman Hwy, Chestertown, Maryland, 21620. Contact them at 410-778-3648 if you have any questions. Check out their adoption policy here!

Dutchie, 15

This poor boy is almost completely blind and deaf so he is requiring a calm and quiet one-story home to live out the rest of his life. He is on the older side, but he would love to have another brother or sister dog companion, or even some calm children to love. Although he is a little slow, he likes going outside and using his nose to sniff around! Find him here!

Bennie, 5

Benni, Orange Tabby Cat

Although not great with other animals, Bennie would do great in a home with kids that won't handle him too roughly. His very sad face tells you that he really is looking for a home with a family that will provide him some love. He has been described as the "goofy uncle" who's funny, entertaining, and tender! See him here!

Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center | Derwood

Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center is an amazing shelter that cares for homeless, abused, and neglected animals. You can find them at 7315 Muncaster Mill Road, Derwood, MD 20855 -- you can call them at 240-773-5900 if you have any questions. Check out their adoption policy here, and check out their website and Facebook!

Sarge, 5

How is this boy possibly still at the shelter? He is a very large dog and can be a bit nippy while taking treats, but is otherwise a great addition to any family! He does need some training with certain manners, and since he is a Labrador, he will require an active home who can keep him occupied and take him on daily walks. Sarge is dog-selective so he would do best in a home without any other pets! Find him here!

Oriole, 12

Not much is known about this boy, but he sure is sad, waiting for someone to come and make him their own. His sweet, sad eyes are just begging for someone to take him home so he can live out the rest of his life comfortably! Meet him here!

Baltimore Humane Society | Baltimore

Have you seen a more innocent face? She looks heartbroken while waiting for her new family! Jada will be the best snuggle buddy that you have been waiting for. She's a very easy-going pup so she won't cause you too much trouble, but she does love her fair share of treats! This lucky girl is living in a foster home living her best life so she is prepared for a new home environment! By the way, she is a staff favorite! Meet her here!

Glitter, 4

Although she is a very curious girl, she can be a bit shy when meeting new people. Don't let that fool you though because once she comes up to you, she will give you head butts and beg for pets! If she's feeling sporadic enough, she will roll around as you pet her! Isn't she just adorable? Find her here!

SPCA of Anne Arundel County | Annapolis

The SPCA of Anne Arundel County is the local shelter for Annapolis, Maryland. Visit them at 1815 Bay Ridge Avenue, or call them at 410-268-4388. Also, you can check them out on Facebook and their website!

Sky, 3

As her big smile will tell you, she's actually very sweet-natured and is a very good dog, however, she needs an experienced owner! She would do best in a very active home that can keep her moving and keep her mind occupied. She will require some training and tends to be a free thinker, so be loving yet firm with your direction. Sadly, she has been shuffled around a bit in the last few years, so she really needs a home! Check her out here!
