Since 2003, The Petfinder Foundation has helped animal shelters and rescue facilities throughout the United States prevent unnecessary euthanasia of pets that can become suitable for adoption. So far, The Petfinder Foundation has donated more than $20 million in cash with support from reputable companies such as Purina, Orvis, and Volvo.
The Petfinder Foundation offers programs that assist shelters in making rescued animals comfortable and healthy until they find their forever home. Some animals require extra special care and love, particularly those who survive natural disasters such as Hurricane Harvey. Without these resources, these pets would never receive medical attention, food, and most importantly, a loving home.
Because Volvo knows the importance of safety for all passengers, Volvo offers a selection of dog-friendly car accessories such as harnesses, dog gates, and load compartment dividers which are all designed to keep your canine safe on the road. For every pet accessory sold, Volvo donates $10 to The Petfinder Foundation to support their efforts.
