We all know that Colorado is an amazing place to live. Between our gorgeous mountains and picturesque views, nothing about our state truly makes us want to live anywhere else.

Actually, scratch that. The following 12 weird laws may have you rethinking that last statement ...

12 Weird Laws in Colorado:

1. Make sure you keep your yard nice and tidy in Pueblo because those pesky dandelions could get you in some trouble with the law.

2. Don't even think about being a good human being and lending your next-door neighbor your vacuum if you live in Denver. It's illegal. Though, your buddy down the street is fair game.

3. In Aspen, it's unlawful to fire catapults at buildings, so, you know, there go my Saturday night plans ...

4. You're not allowed to throw missiles at cars in Alamosa. Um, good?

5. Residents in Louisville may not own chickens, but may own up to three turkeys.

6. Next time you go skiing in Vail, be cautious because if you crash into any obstacles on the slopes, you're breaking the law.

7. It's illegal to mutilate a rock in a state park. So ... don't.

8. Got a llama? Make sure you keep it from grazing on Boulder City property.

9. Are you more of a horse or pack mule individual? Well, if you're ever in Cripple Creek, make sure you don't bring your travel companion above the ground floor of any building 'cause it's a big no-no.

10. In Westminster, you have to pay a fine if you let someone park less than two feet away from you.

11. It's prohibited to mistreat rats in the city of Denver. Uh, can you define "mistreat"?

12. And, for goodness sake, don't have a couch on your outside porch in Boulder.
