Shaw Main Streets, a nonprofit organization that works to revitalize and build community in Shaw is throwing a Shaw Open House this weekend, where you’ll be able to experience what the businesses and people have to offer.
WHEN: Saturday, June 16, 2018 | 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE: There will be no set location, but the event will be focused on the southern half of the Shaw Main Streets service area, south of Rhode Island Avenue and between 6th and 10th Streets, NW.
COST: It’s free to attend, and there will be a lot of complimentary goodies handed out as well!

DETAILS: The Shaw Open House is designed to showcase the neighborhood, through its restaurants, bars, shops, and community. This is the time to go and show it some love, and also try some really cool freebies. Many restaurants will be handing out samples of food, beer, wine, and cocktails. There will be some things you can bring home as well, such as #LoveShaw t-shirts, magnets, recyclable shopping bags, and more. It’s a win-win for you
and the neighborhood.
