Love the Kennedy Center but can’t shell out for a show?
You’re in luck because the Kennedy Center actually has free performances for the public to enjoy every night. Come to The Kennedy Center of Performing Arts and take photos on the rooftop, which features gorgeous panoramic views of Washington, D.C. Then, at 6 p.m., catch a free show on the Millennium Stage, whose mission is to provide access to the arts for the public. Shows offer ...“a broad spectrum of national and international performing arts companies, from dance and jazz, to chamber music and folk, comedy, storytelling and theater, every day of the year.”You can view an upcoming calendar of events on The Kennedy Center website and to get more information about which one performance may want to go see.
It’s a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the space, take scenic photos, and catch a cultural show -- all for free!
