Eden Center in Falls Church, Virginia, is the destination for anything Vietnamese -- from services, to home products, to food.

It may be just a strip mall, but the moment you enter Eden Center (in Falls Church, VA), you’ll be transported from a conventional Washington, D.C., suburb to halfway across the world. Ever since 1996, Eden Center has been -- well -- the center for the Vietnamese community. And because its offerings became so popular, others in D.C. took notice. Now the strip mall, which houses over 125 establishments, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and welcomes all cultures, races, and ethnicities. One of the first things you should check out at Eden Center is the food. It houses some of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area). If you’ve never tried pho -- a traditional noodle soup -- now is the time. Also, stop by one of the many Vietnamese-style sandwich shops, and don’t forget to sip on an original or flavored bubble tea as you wander around the mall.
Next on your list, whether you’re male or female, should be a visit to one of the many salons. Get a great haircut, relax with a specialty massage, or receive a fabulous manicure/pedicure. Vietnam is known for its health and beauty economy, and Eden Center gives you the chance to experience it stateside, without ever leaving the Washington, D.C., metro area. Then there's the shopping, which offers everything from souvenirs, to clothes, to everyday products. Watch for store opening events so you can snag some free samples!
