The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) nominees have been announced, and it's definitely not a Cruel Summer for Taylor Swift, who leads the pack with a whopping 8 nominations!
Swift, who is finishing up her first U.S. leg of The Eras Tour, is nominated for Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects, and Best Editing. She's followed by SZA (6); Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sam Smith (5 each); and BLACKPINK, Diddy, and Shakira (4 each).
The 2023 VMAs will return on Tuesday, September 12, at 8 p.m. (ET), live from the Prudential Center in New Jersey.
