La Piccolina is an adorable and elegant addition to any venue.

Nicole and Ryan Silver are the husband-and-wife team behind a new mobile bar concept coming to Colorado.

Inspired by their love of Italy and Nicole’s passion for the wedding industry, the idea of the mobile bar was born. The couple purchased a vintage 1994 Piaggio Ape and had the little three-wheeled truck shipped to the United States—the small vehicles are common in Italy and can be seen zipping all over the country. Pronounced “Ahh-Pay", the word means “bee” in Italian.

The truck is named La Piccolina, or "little one", and after a lot of TLC and $30,000 spent in converting the truck, the mobile bar can now be rented out for private events, weddings, parties, baby showers, and more. Currently, the Silvers are in the Washington, D.C., area and have booked a few events for La Piccolina there. Nicole hails from Castle Rock and the couple plans on heading back to Colorado in November and bringing the mobile bar with them. They're already taking reservations in Colorado for 2021.

Nicole is hoping to help recreate the wedding industry here in Colorado, and she plans to start a wedding planning business to work in-tandem with the mobile bar.

The couple has been featured in Rocky Mountain Bride and was named as the top mobile bars in the state for weddings. There are several different options for how to book La Piccolina and they work with events large and small, will travel, and offer custom quotes.
