Another day, another 2021 NFL Mock Draft

Draft season on the horizon with most teams in the NFL having three games left to play, meaning front offices around the league, and particularly those of franchises set to miss out on the playoffs, are drawing up their wishlists as they look to improve their rosters in 2021.

Unless something drastic changes concerning either the New York Jets or presumptive first overall pick Trevor Lawrence , the first name to be called come April’s draft is pretty much set in stone.

And, barring something unexpected from the Jacksonville Jaguars and Cincinnati Bengals, picks two and three should be pretty easy to figure out.

It is at pick number four where the intrigue in this draft is likely to start, with franchises sure to be keen to strike a trade that will secure them one of the two quarterbacks seen as a level below Trevor Lawrence and Justin Fields — Zach Wilson and Trey Lance.

There are also a plethora of playmakers on both sides of the ball who could land in exciting spots.

The New England Patriots may be in the market for a quarterback if they decide to move on from Cam Newton, but an underwhelming 2020 season has also made it clear they require more talent at the offensive skill positions.

In Kansas City, there are no such issues with the skill positions for the Chiefs but, as the 2020 selection of Clyde Edwards-Helaire proved, they are more than willing to stack the deck further of the league’s most explosive offense.

Both the Patriots and the Chiefs add to their weaponry in this latest mock draft, which was done using The Draft Network’s simulator and draft order prior to the Los Angeles Chargers’ win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
