More than 50 TVs were found by police the morning after the TV Santa Claus struck!

As if this world can't get any stranger: a prankster who wishes to be called the "TV Santa Claus" dropped off vintage TVs on porches around Henrico County, Virginia, in the middle of the night. Yes, you read that right: vintage TVs—quite an odd item to be lugging around neighborhoods and leaving on random porches!

The police worked diligently for hours the next day collecting the TVs and determining that more than 50 were left on porches. What's funnier? The TV Santa Claus is dressed in a disguise with a vintage TV mask on his face. (*nervous giggles*) What?

Oddly enough, this is not the first time that the TV Santa Claus has struck. Last year, however, only 20 TVs were dropped off as part of the prank.

While the gifts weren't necessarily appreciated nor harmful, some residents found them inconvenient at worst while others even saw the humor in it. We, however, say this is quite a creepy situation. Dare we say it's comparable to the creepy clowns that were spotted in 2016 and 2017?

"They had way too much time on their hands if they had all these TVs and spread them all over the neighborhood," neighbor Michael Kroll told WTVR. "I think it’s funny in some ways ... Now if my whole front yard was covered with TVs, I’d kind of get upset."

Whatever the meaning on this prank is supposed to be, it's creepy and inconvenient and we hope it doesn't happen for a third year in a row!
