An Arlington commercial building and Irving shopping center have new owners
The City of Arlington has purchased a building in the city’s entertainment district to convert into a police substation, evidence storage and crime lab facility. Skywalker Property Partners sold the 41,680-ssquare-foot building, developed in 1984. The property includes five acres at 1715 E. Lamar Blvd., across the street from Hurricane Harbor. Skywalker Property owned the building for seven years. Clint Holland with Skywalker Property brokered the sale. An out-of-state investor has purchased Towne North shopping center, a 124,289 square foot shopping center at the southwest corner of Belt Line Road and Northgate in Irving. The retail center is anchored by El Rancho Supermercado. David Disney and Adam Crockett of Disney Investment Group brokered the sale by Nayeb Group. Pulte Homes purchased 18 acres at 5001 Zion Rd. in Garland from Oasis Church with plans to build 90 single-family homes in a project called Bridgewater. Younger Partners’ Jack Gail brokered the sale with Church Realty’s John Muzyka. The vacant land was originally zoned for commercial use. Western Wealth Capital has purchased the Somerset apartments, a 372-unit rental community at Corporate Drive and State Highway 121 in Lewisville. . Built in 1986, the property was sold by LumaCorp. Drew Kile, Joey Tumminello, Will Balthrope, Asher Hall, Bard Hoover and Nick Fluellen with Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale. GoodLife Housing Partners purchased Marbletree Apartments, a 416-unit, garden-style multifamily property at 4057 North Belt Line Road in Irving, Texas. The property is currently 98% occupied. The rental community was sold by LumaCorp. Newmark’s Jakob Andersen and Brian O’Boyle Jr. brokered the sale. Financing for the purchase was provided by Ready Capital. Virani Service Group has purchased a 5,940-ssquare-foot office-warehouse on 1.19 acres at 2630 North Interstate 35E in Carrollton. Jason Finch and Brian Pafford with Bradford Commercial Real Estate brokered the sale with Rich Young Jr. of the Rich Young Co. Vasquez Realty Holdings LLC purchased a 5,421 square-foot office building at 8509 Mid-Cities Boulevard in the Stonecreek Office Park in North Richland Hills. JCP Realty developed the new building. Russ Webb and LeAnn Brown of Silver Oak Commercial Realty brokered the sale. Sunrise Wood Designs LLC, a cabinetry supplier for homebuilders in North Texas, has expanded its manufacturing facility at 8801 Autobahn Drive in South Dallas to 167,405 square feet. Baron Aldrine and Michael Chiocca with CBRE negotiated the lease. Texan Food Service has leased 5,000 square feet of industrial space at 10500 Metric Dr. in Dallas, from Tyler Family Real Estate Investments LLC. Jason Finch, Noah Dodge and Brian Pafford of Bradford Commercial Real Estate negotiated the lease. STD Solutions Inc leased 7,954 square feet of commercial space at 5535 Airport Freeway in Haltom City. Ben Crancer, Evan Hammer and Jade Scott with Whitebox Real Estate negotiated the lease with Steve Relyea of The Relyea Co. Mitsui Bussan Logistics Inc. leased 4,673 square feet of commercial space at 1707 Market Place Blvd in Irving. Linda Averitt has leased 1,211 square feet of retail space located in The Shops at Midlothian at 661 East Main Street. Fairgounds Coffee and Tea 2,176 square feet of retail space in the Highland Park Place building at 4514 Cole Avenue in Dallas. Brio Nutrition LLC has leased 2,000 square feet of industrial space in Hackberry Business Park, 207 King Rd., in Frisco, from Americo Hackberry LP.
