A GoFundMe was created to assist the young boy's family with financial help.

Authorities continue to search for a young boy who went missing on June 5 in Eagle, Colorado. Sebastian Rodriguez Castro, 3, who has autism and is non-verbal, went missing from his home off Nogal Road in Eagle Villas Apartments.

For the first time in a week, the Eagle River's water levels dropped on Tuesday, June 16, allowing investigators and search crews to widen the search for the 3-year-old.

According to the Eagle County Public Information Officers Group, search crews will continuously monitor the river's conditions in order to search some of the areas that were previously considered safe. Investigators continue to follow up on any and all leads.

Additionally, a GoFundMe has been created for the family to help them financially during this time. The GoFundMe page was created Tuesday afternoon, and by Thursday at 1:40 p.m., it had raised over $7,000.

Search and rescue crews have not found many signs of the young boy, however, on Saturday, June 6, the Eagle County Sheriff's Office said they found an article of clothing by the river. The sheriff's office identified it as belonging to Sebastian. They also found in the river a phone the boy had been carrying when he went missing.

Anyone who has information that may help in the search for Sebastian is asked to call the non-emergency number for Vail Public Safety Communications Center: 970-479-2201.

Our thoughts are with Sebastian's family, along with the dedicated people who continue to search for him.
