Here's when the notification system will be tested ...

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation will be testing out its AMBER Alert notifications system at 11 a.m. on Monday morning, officials said.

This test alert will send out notifications to Coloradans' phones with a URL, so you'll be able to access the alert bulletin.

John Camper, director of the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, said in a statement, "One of the challenges of the [Wireless Emergency Alert] system is that it only provides for a maximum of 360 characters in the cell phone message, which dramatically limits the amount of information the CBI can offer in these time-sensitive situations."

"The URL redirect to a site will further enhance our ability to share critical and helpful information in a timely manner," he added.
