Are you a frontline worker who is planning a wedding? You have a chance to get one for free in Washington, D.C. Kimpton Hotel Monaco is showing its appreciation by giving away one free wedding to a deserving frontline worker. The wedding package includes food, drinks, flowers, DJ, and a hotel suite; it's valued at $10,000.
It’s all part of Kimpton’s campaign to honor nurses for National Nurses Day. Couples have until May 20, 2021, to enter. The winner will be announced on May 27.
Kimpton Hotel Monaco is located in Penn Quarter in a building that was once the General Post Office. The historic building is the perfect location for that quintessential Washington wedding. The winner will get a three-course sit-down meal and a 90-minute open bar for 30 people along with flowers and a DJ to entertain your wedding party. The couple can pick one venue room from the Paris ballroom, the Athens Room that overlooks the National Portrait Gallery, or hold your wedding outside on the patio.
The pandemic has forced many couples to postpone weddings or scale down them down to a few close friends and family. As vaccination rates rise and case rates fall, newly engaged couples are racing to book venues across the U.S. According to The Knot, wedding professionals expect 2021 to be one of the busiest years for weddings in decades.
If you want a chance to win this fabulous wedding from Kimpton, visit the hotel’s Instagram page at @monacodc and send them a DM with a one-minute video about you and your fiancé’s love story. You can also post a picture with a detailed caption and tag the hotel. Your wedding must take place before August 31, 2021. All entries must be received by May 20, 2021.
