After "snowpocalypse" this weekend, many weary and stranded travelers at Denver International Airport are waking up to 27 inches of snowfall, Colorado sunshine, and reports that some runways will open today:
All runways will remain closed until 2 p.m. today - no flights will arrive or depart before that time while crews continue to treat the airfield for ice and snow. With so many flight cancellations and rebookings on Saturday, and flights being grounded on Sunday afternoon, one can only imagine the volume of travelers flooding DIA today. Make sure to check in with your airline for the status of your flight before heading down to the airport.
