What a time to be alive! According to a study, Maryland is now one of the best places to live.
Marylanders, now is the time to be proud of our state! We've made it into the top 10 of U.S. News and World Report's Best States list, clinching 6th place overall!
But I bet you already knew how awesome Maryland is. I mean, the Blue Crab population just rose 60 percent, meaning ready access to our favorite food at all times. Plus, we've got ample pro sports teams (Orioles and Ravens) and the amazing Chesapeake Bay so we won't have to drive too far to visit the beach (don't forget about Ocean City!).

Maryland scored among the highest in health care (No. 8), opportunity (No. 5), education (No. 13), and fiscal stability (No. 15), earning us the 6th spot overall! Our neighbor Virginia was close behind at No. 7, while we were beaten by Washington state (No. 1), New Hampshire (No. 2), Minnesota (No. 3), Utah (No. 4), and Vermont (No. 5).
