Congratulations, Richmond and Virginia Beach. Quote Wizard has officially confirmed that you have some of the worst drivers in the country!
To settle the debate on the quality of drivers nationwide, Quote Wizard ranked motorists from 75 cities on their "Best and Worst Drivers" list. Quote Wizard analyzed data from insurance quotes and took four factors into consideration: the number of accidents, speeding tickets, citations, and DUIs.
Virginia Beach has secured the No. 3 spot for having a high number of speeding tickets, DUIs, and citations. Surprisingly, this is the first year that Virginia Beach has catapulted into the top 10, previously sitting in the No. 12 and 13 spots. Meanwhile, Richmond is sitting in the No. 10 spot for a high number of moving violations and a high insurance rate.
