Yes, you read that right! The Broadmoor, a Colorado Springs luxury resort, has been awarded a 5-star designation by the Forbes Travel Guide for sixty consecutive years.

Every year, Forbes puts out its list of the country's best resorts, hotels, and restaurants. Colorado's own Broadmoor is consistently recognized as one of the best of its kind, making it the longest-running 5-star resort in the entire guide. It's not hard to see why, considering all that the iconic resort has to offer.

The ratings aren't just about the fanciest places or the most expensive food. The inspectors focus on who has their service and hospitality game down to a science. Here's just a bit of what Forbes had to say about The Broadmoor in the 2020 guide:

"You'll never be bored at Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star The Broadmoor, with its main campus located on 5,000 acres of property in Colorado Springs. The resort offers tons of activities for its guests, including falconry, pickleball, soaring adventures, world-class golf, paddle boating, swimming, tennis, fly-fishing and there's even an onsite movie theatre. Families will love Play at The Broadmoor, which offers six lanes of bowling under glammed-out chandeliers." -Forbes Travel Guide

Foodies will love all of the restaurant and bar options available, including the brick pizza oven that produces scrumptious wood-fired pies all day long.

Most resorts have a relaxing spa and sparkling pools; have you ever seen one with miles of private fishing spots and a rustic lodge for their more outdoorsy guests? There's even a zip-line for the really adventurous!
