Card game is hiring for up to $40/hour; apply by Aug. 31.

You read that right! You could get paid writing cards for the popular “party game for horrible people.” According to the official Cards Against Humanity site, the game is looking to hire profane minds that are insanely funny to become a part of its pool of remote, contributing writers. Hires could make up to $40 an hour!!! to come up with original, clever, and mind-bending cards for game upgrades and refresher packs.

So, do you have what it takes? Can you come up with something that puts “I drink to forget (black card) … my relationship status (white card)” to shame? Or how about something more profound than “In the distant future, historians will agree that ... deez nuts (white card) ... marked the beginning of America’s decline (black card)”?

If the answer is yes, then let your wacky, profane voice be heard and submit your best 15 white cards and five best black cards by August 31. The application page provides a number of handy tips to help you learn what the game is looking for in each type of card.

While seriously awesome, this gig probably won’t help you quit your day job, as the game is looking for writers “sometimes.” But it will give you some side cash, a chance to let your sick mind shine, and more importantly, serious bragging rights to prove you are better than your friends, once and for all.

Everyone is encouraged to apply, and again, the deadline is August 31. So don’t dally.

“We strongly encourage applicants from historically marginalized communities to apply, particularly people of color, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Also looking for hot single dads,” says the application site.
