Rapper Kanye West was on the presidential ballot in 13 states. 

As it turns out—whether as a joke or because they literally could not choose between the major party candidates—more than 66,000 Americans voted for Kanye West to become president. As of November 5, the votes for Kanye West totaled 66,021, spread across the 13 states where he was on the ballot.

  • Colorado, 7,199 (.3%)
  • Idaho, 3,632 (.2%)
  • Iowa, 3,202 (.2%)
  • Kentucky, 6,259 (.3%)

  • Minnesota, 7,198 (.2%)
  • Mississippi, 3,359 (.3%)
  • Nevada, 4,568 (.4%)
  • Oklahoma, 5,590 (.4%)
