The home improvement chain is looking to ramp up hiring this spring.
Spring is prime time for planting, painting, and home remodel projects, and Home Depot is expecting big traffic at its U.S. stores. To help accommodate all those customers, the company is planning to hire more than 80,000 employees. The new jobs will include both part-time and full-time positions, and applicants from all career stages are invited to apply.
In addition to planting and gardening, the spring season also attracts consumers using those tax returns for a new home project or remodel. A shortage of new construction homes for sale is expected to bolster spending on home remodeling projects. Home Depot is looking to fill jobs in the home and garden center, freight, warehouse, and retail departments. The company provides training for all positions via e-learning and cutting edge mobile apps.
