Kansas State (6-18, 2-13 Big 12) begins a challenging last stretch of the regular season on Tuesday night, as the Wildcats play host to No. 7/8 Oklahoma (14-5, 9-4 Big 12) at 8 p.m., CT at Bramlage Coliseum. It will also be Senior Night, as the program will honor its lone senior — Mike McGuirl — in a pregame ceremony. The Sooners will be looking to sweep the season series for the first time since 2011-12 after earning a 76-50 win over the Wildcats at home on Jan. 19. Tuesday’s game will air on ESPN2 with Mark Neely (play-by-play) and Robbie Hummel (analyst) on the call.

This will be the Wildcats’ 11th matchup against a Top 25 opponent this season, including the sixth in the last 7 contests. K-State played 5 consecutive Top 25 foes (No. 23/22 Kansas, No. 13/11 Texas Tech, No. 13/13 Texas, No. 23/22 Oklahoma State and No. 23/24 Kansas) before playing at TCU on Saturday. The Wildcats have lost 15 in a row against ranked opponents, while they have dropped 7 straight to ranked teams at home. K-State is 119-272 all-time vs. ranked opponents, which includes a 8-11 mark vs. the AP’s No. 7 ranked squad. Head coach Bruce Weber has a school-record 26 wins vs. Top 25 foes, 6 of which have come against ranked Sooner teams.

15:35 After an impressive performance on Saturday against TCU, Mike McGuirl has cooled off on Senior Night with an 0-2 start from the field, leading to a 7-4 Sooner lead early.

11:50 Four different Wildcats have scored early (Pack, Bradford, D. Gordon and Miguel) but K-State still trails the nation's No. 7 ranked team, 13-9.

7:50 Oklahoma leads 18-13 at the under 8 media timeout in Bramlage. Bradford has been key with five points as the Wildcats have made an emphasis on getting the basketball inside, but yet have still bricked on seven 3-pointers. Feeding Bradford/Ezeagu will be the best recipe for success against Oklahoma's small lineup.

4:07 Oklahoma's Austin Reaves was whistled for a T at the under 8 timeout, giving him two fouls. K-State is still down 23-19 though and was unable to make a run following the T.

HALFTIME: K-State 29, Oklahoma 29: As Austin Reaves sat on the bench, K-State went on a 16-11 run to tie things up at halftime. D. Gordon has made hustle plays and has seven big points but Bradford leads the Wildcats with nine first half points.

15:46 Despite some questionable officiating, K-State has opened up a five-point lead at 36-31. A corner 3-pointer from Pack, along with buckets from Bradford and McGuirl, have set the tone for the final 20 minutes.

11:44 K-State's dominant start to the second half was no fluke as the Wildcats hold a 40-38 lead at the under 12 timeout. The Sooners are very well on upset alert.

8:05 K-State has not scored in over five minutes but is only down 44-40. It goes without saying the 'Cats will need some buckets to complement its stellar defensive performance.

5:11 The Wildcats ended their scoring drought but remain down 51-47. Bradford has 13 points while McGuirl has hit double figures with 10.

3:57 Austin Reaves has started to take over, as the Wichita State transfer now has 21; 14 of which have come in the second half. K-State is still hanging around down 52-47 but must stop Reaves down the stretch for a chance at the upset.

1:01 [TO OKLA] Mike McGuirl hit three 3-pointers in a row to give K-State a lead. 'Cats up 58-55 late.

16.1 K-State up 58-57 and has the ball coming out of a timeout.

FINAL: K-State 62, Oklahoma 57: Comeback complete. K-State knocks off the No. 7 Sooners thanks to Mike McGuirl's huge performance on Senior Night.
