The New Hampshire Lottery Commission was recently forced to retract their "Luck Yeah!" ad campaign because it sounded like profane language, according to one whiny-whinerson city councilman.

The New Hampshire Lottery ads, which could be seen online and in TV commercials, highly offended New District 3 Councilor Russell Prescott, who reportedly stamped his foot and threatened to tell his mommy if the ads weren't taken down. New Hampshire Lottery Executive Director Charlie McIntyre defended the ads, claiming that the word “luck” goes hand-in-hand with the lottery business. He added that his team of creatives had logged a lot of hours spit-balling ideas before landing on the "Luck Yeah" campaign. According to a lottery source, some other taglines that were on the table included:
  • Luck Off
  • Luck Face
  • Luck You
  • Luck Me
  • Luck It
  • For Luck's Sake
  • Go Luck Yourself
  • Luck Up
McIntyre added that the "Luck Yeah" ads had been effective in grabbing viewers' attention, but in the end, Prescott got his way. The ads went bye-bye. In developing the new tagline, New Hampshire Lottery made a huge departure from the poo-pooed "luck" theme. Their new tagline is ... wait for it ... drum roll ... "Win Time!" (Sad trombone). When asked if he was happy with the change, McIntrye said, "Luck no." What do you think about the ad campaign?
