And just like that, Khal Drogo is no more.
Jason Momoa, best known for his role as Kahl Drogo on Games of Thrones, shaved his beard to bring awareness to recycling, and fans are not having it. Many have pleaded for him to bring it back, while others are here. for. it.
Momoa uploaded a video to YouTube titled "Goodbye Drogo...I SHAVED," pleading for us to use aluminum instead of plastic as aluminum is easier to break down and can be processed and reused within 60 days.
When fans first started watching, they simply thought this was a video about recycling awareness until it cut to a scene with him using an electric razor on his face.
Most of their reactions were like this:

In the video, Jason stated, "I just want to do this to bring awareness that plastics are killing our planet ... and I think I have a solution ... Aluminum ... we can help our planet and save our planet, as long as we recycle."
The actor continued, "About 75 percent of aluminum that is used is still in circulation today, and it's 100 percent recyclable. You drink the can and in about 60 days, it'll be back."
Jason hopes to take his cans of aluminum water to other companies to help raise awareness and cut back on the use of plastic. In the video, the actor places cans of still, alkaline, sparkling, and spring water on the desert ground to display the new product that he hopes to sell and circulate.
I mean, I think I speak for all of us when I say we can't wait to get our hands on one of your cans of water! I know drinking just water out of an aluminum can may seem weird, but what an amazing initiative to help Mother Nature.
To everyone freaking out: the man has not shaved in seven years! I'm sure he was ready to get rid of that hair! Besides, when the video cut to a scene with the beard gone, fans quickly realized that he's. still. hot.
Moving on ...
Twitter had their fair share of reactions, from negative to positive! #Stillourkingwithorwithouthebeard

If like me, you are distressed about Jason Momoa shaving his beard, I've just found out adult males can grow these things back in a matter of weeks.— 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐬 (@NickHolmesPL) April 18, 2019
