Ruffles "All Dressed" Potato Chips (16 1/8 oz.) could contain undeclared milk ingredients.

Frito-Lay and the FDA announced last week that they discovered certain bags of Ruffles All Dressed Potato Chips were somehow accidentally filled with another flavor. Not being the norm, it could potentially expose consumers to undeclared milk. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to dairy could have an adverse reaction to the product.

The recall pertains to 16 1/8 oz. bags of Ruffles All Dressed Potato Chips that were distributed to Sam's Club warehouses in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. The bags have a “Guaranteed Fresh” date as of June 1, 2021, and one of these 9-digit manufacturing codes: 373205510473305610473105610. The recalled bags were not sent to any other distributor, nor are they included in any "variety packs."

The “All Dressed” flavor, first popularized in Canada is, you guessed it, a little bit of everything. A sweet and tangy combination of different flavors ranging through salt and vinegar, barbecue, ketchup, and more! They are quite tasty but if you live in one of the aforementioned states you should wait a bit before checking them out.

So far, no issues or allergic reactions have been reported regarding the product. If you have purchased one of the bags at Sam's Club in one of the states listed, are lactose intolerant, or live with someone who is, you should dispose of the bag immediately.
