Now we know what not to use Gorilla Glue for ...

A TikTok post went viral recently when Tessica Brown told fans that her hair became completely stuck after using Gorilla Glue adhesive instead of her usual hairspray. Brown could not unstick her hair which left it in a "forever ponytail," but the worst part was the pain of a burning scalp and incredible mockery on social media.

Most recently, according to TMZ, Brown underwent a successful 4-hour surgery with plastic surgeon Dr. Obeng. Despite many naysayers, Brown has the support of many on a GoFundMe fundraiser, which has already raised $17,433 for her, at the time of this writing. TMZ also reported that Brown has a lawyer and may be considering legal action against Gorilla Glue.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Brown denies making this statement, "No, I've never ever said that. Again, I don't know where all of this is coming from because at this point, everybody is saying it."

After posting her problem on social platforms, the company Gorilla Glue allegedly tweeted a profane comment but most recently it's been verified as a fake tweet. "This appears to be a photoshopped image of our account, we did not author this tweet," Melanie Blumental, Gorilla Glue's manager of digital, social and public relations.

Here's Gorilla Glue's official verified statement:

Fans of Brown have posted inspiring messages:

"We all make mistakes. Let's not beat her up. My prayers and heart go out to you. I hope you get this situation resolved. Blessings," wrote one donor.

Another said, "We all make errors in judgment sometimes. I just want you to know that you are still valued Queen. We are praying on your condition here to receive better result. Stay blessed. God is shining a light on you."

Tessica Brown may have experienced much pain from using Gorilla Glue as hair spray, but it seems things are looking up with thanks to her plastic surgeon, fans, and fundraiser.
