In about two months, 16 miniature horses will be available for adoption. The horses found a new home at the Denver Dumb Friends League Harmony Equine Center in Franktown, and were rescued from Houston after being neglected by their original owner. All of the horses were weighed, underwent medical examinations, had microchips placed, and will continue to be taken care of by the Dumb Friends League until they are put up for adoption. https://www.facebook.com/dumbfriendsleague/posts/10155658686944536 According to the news release by the Dumb Friends League, the miniature horses and ponies suffered "from a variety medical conditions including malnutrition, breathing issues and hoof problems."
